Have you seen Dig?
This is a great rockumentary of the Dandy Warhols as they became
famous - the painful decisions and compromise that goes into
being a famous band. It also follows their great friend and
(muse?) Anton who runs the, let's say, avant-garde group the
Brian Jones Town Massacre. Indeed, as odd as their name, though
gifted with a certain psychedelic je ne sais quois. He took
the starving in a garret rather than sell out route, or maybe
the record companies just didn't feel safe working with him
- either way his less commercial sound |
